Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. He is most known for the roles he was in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". He identified his interest towards acting in his early days at the college classroom and then studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active on TV and film but his performances on the small screen were what earned him popularity. He is able to play each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. This is the reason that is what makes him so famous. He portrayed the role of a serial killer on his first television series project and then went on to portray the character that of a NYPD detective. Multiple times he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is thought to be his distinctive blue eyes. They are believed to be a trademark and help in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
