Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 13 December 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for the past 20 years. Her tales about romantic love in the midst of heartbreak and young love has earned her the acclaim of many in the 21st Century. Swift began showing an interest in the music industry from a very young age. Her career progressed rapidly through the play of kids and her first public appearance in the presence of thousands. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. the following year she began playing guitar and began writing songs. Taking her inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania together with her parents, and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she was 13 years old to dedicate more time to reaching out to label representatives from the country genre.
