Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shakar was one of the American and British sitar artist. She's the smallest woman and was the first person to be awarded an official British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest young star of the Indian sitar. She is a student as well as daughter to Ravi Shankar. Born in London She spent her first few years of her life traveling between London as well as New Delhi. The first time she performed was in New Delhi when she was just 13 years old. After that, she moved in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Her career as a performer and recorder is quite impressive, in spite of her youth. Her father was with her on numerous occasions for some time. Her debut solo album Anourag in 1998. In 2002, she debuted her Grammy Nominated Live at Carnegie Hall. She has appeared at many major venues around the globe. Anoushka's career does not only include the world of music. She also published Bapi the Heart of My Life, in the year 2002. The book is a biography which pays tribute to her dad Ravi Shankar. In addition, she acted. in the 2003 movie Dance Like a Man, in which she played the role of a Bharat Natyam dancer young girl.
